I finally went to school after like skipping it for 2-3 days!
Yes, yesterday was a saturday!
But daddy was able to fetch me to school, hence i went.

School wasn't the highlight yesterday.
It was after - meeting baby!
It's been a really long time since we both went out on a date, a real one.

Baby treated me to Manhattan Fish Market
at Plaza Singapura :))

We both shared a couple seafood platter.
I would say Fish&Co's seafood platter is nicer.
Their mussels and prawns are way more delicious!

Thank you baby for the lunch :))

We went for a movie afterwards.

The movie was predictable, just like what Denise said.
But it was overall, nice!
A superhero movie of the bad turning into the good.

At around 6plus, we went to meet baby's secondary school friends.
It was 2 of his friends birthday - Laypeng and KaiLi
Happy Birthday to both of them! Well wishes :))
It was sweet of their classmates to celebrate their birthdays,
even though its been years since they all graduated.

They booked reservations at Mr Punch Restaurant.

It is situated inside the Mint Museum!
The food there was not bad! Their service was excellent i would say! :)
Sang the birthday girls a birthday song,
and they were presented with a fruit tart kind-of cake!

They have a bar on the rooftop of the building!
We went straight after our dinner to have a drink + catching up session.

Everything was great - especially their service!
The toilets were a little creepy.
But beside that, all was good! :))

Baby and i had a great time there!

Im not too sure whether this is true.
But i was told by my mum that if a woman keeps eating beef when she's pregnant,
the child will be rather hairy!

Apparently, my mum told me that she ate alot of beef when she was having me.
So yes, i think im hairy.
Even though not to the extent of being an orang utan!

It's kind of a hazzle to be waxing off every single hair that is growing 24/7!
But with the help of STRIP, yes, it's possible!

It has been a really long time since i'd last blog.
My life has been revolving around school, home, boyf and my clique.

Alright! It was Junwei's 21st birthday on Halloween's!
Kinda cool to be a halloween baby!

But, it was sad for him, 21st birthday - to be spent with us,
as we were all rushing for our projects!
No choice, we just had to meet up!

So we gave him a surprise lunch @ Fish&Co! :)

We girls are cutting cost, so we 3 shared a seafood platter!
It was yummy by the way!

When we all finished eating, Junwei called for the bill.
But of course, the staff there knew - there's still a cake in their kitchen!

So they prepared and brought the cake out!
Then, Junwei was surprised!

Apparently, Fish&Co has a very special celebration for birthday people
who patronise their restaurant on their birthday!
It was Junwei's first time celebrating his birthday there tho!

It was really nice of Fish&Co to even take a picture
for us and gave the birthday boy a card!

been accompany-ing boyf to sgh for his lasik operation.
then today went back for checkup.

ytd i surprised him at his doorstep at 630am! :D
see he surprised, feel so blessed expression hahaha.
cos i told him i sure late..
since his operation was at like 745am. need to reach sgh.
i was like omg, i sure cannot wake up.
so i say i meet him after his operation.
then he like sadsad one.. :(
instead i woke up at like 430am and prepare, bathe, eat breakfast,
and went out at 6am. and surprised him! :D yay!

and then baby went to get a haircut at eddie, now shuai shuai liao..

been going to work everyday without fail.

sometimes after reading a novel,
i would wonder: what if i wasnt born in singapore?
what if i happen to live in countries like the US or Aust?
life would definitely be super different.

seeing how the media portray how people in the english countries live their lives,
or even in movies, and drama series like gossip girls,
its completely different from how live in singapore is.

here, parents tell their kids that life there is complicated,
at least much more than in spore.
people had guns in possession, bad friends, kidnapped,
what could be worse?
it frightens me.
it isnt anything like in here, comfort, stability, safe,
at least only the policemen have guns.
i dont have to worry when i'll get shot by some anonymous on the road.

im curious. and that curiosity grew even stronger soon enough.
i had been there, but i only led their lifestyle like at most 2 weeks?
it cant satisfy my curiosity.

a year back, i had to chance to be abroad for studies.
but i was afraid to take that big step.
i knew i had to be independent & alert, be a smart girl.
but i clearly wasnt ready, i still wanna be the lil girl relying on my parents.

i didnt want to change anything in my life right now.
i wasnt ready, just am not.
but each time the curiosity grows stronger,
it pushes me to want to learn to be independent,
so that i can be ready, just in case i have another chance to kill that curiosity of mine.

met baby early in the morning (13th Dec 09)
then we headed to chinatown first.
booked a table at 12pm, so we thot we need to be quick.

so after that, trained down to dhoby ghaut and took a bus.
reached the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed by the waitresses and waiters :)
everything was totally different from other restaurants.
the service, the ambience, the food, their friendliness..
baby and i had a great time there! :) :)

below: it's not decoration on the table,
it's edible!! we were told to munch on this while reading the menu..

it was a 6 course meal thing for lunch.
if you took dinner, then its 7 course.
the food really is superb man!
baby love the beef, me too! best beef we ever eaten!! :) :)

and then, bcos we're celebrating baby's bday in advance,
hence i brought him there :)
the restaurant made a something special for him :)

went out with baby in the afternoon :)

planned to go labrador park seesee,
waited at harbourfront interchange for the bus,
and then we realised the bus only available on wkends!
like 'sua gu' can! no wonder everyone kept looking at us!!

so we headed for suntec instead,
then bused down to orchard.
bought things, walkwalk shopshop,
went in to view the new 313 @ somerset :)

dinner back at tampines,
brought baby to try teppanyaki,
his virgin experience with me!
can see he loves it! :)

i found more places to bring him to when he's free :)

im finally back at home. my home.
it felt very very long when the 2 months of renovation isnt over yet.
but now, back at home, i kinda thought everything was very fast!
afterall, it didnt felt like home staying over at another house.
and all my clothes werent with me! haha

the sofa isnt here yet, the tv and internet isnt fix yet,
the stove cant be use too.
soon, i guess, maybe after a week or two, everything will be like a real home.

there were lots and lots of boxes to unpack.
for my room, i already had a whole 3 big bags of clothes to unpack *faints
kinda settled everything in my room for now.

gonna go get a chair soon, a rug, a couch, beanbags and pillows.
was thinking of getting photo frames too.
wanna decorate my room into a very homely place to be in!

i thought it was the end of the world when my epilator died on me ytd!

School life.

It’s a totally different experience all together from a private institution to a government school. The people, the environment, the lecturers, the assignments, everything is just different.

Which would i prefer? I would say a private institution. Not because the workload there is lesser, not because the people there are mostly eurasians, not because the attendance are not marked, not because i have more free time on my own.

Apparently, the lecturers there are willing to spend out of lesson time to teach you more. I remembered i was a pure noob in audio production. Im suppose to record a band, mix and master the song to almost perfection (like the ones you hear in the albums sold in music stores). I had difficulties doing so then. But my lecturers and supervisors, are so willing to offer help even when their duty and office hours have ended. I even had a nickname for one of them: 24hours helpdesk :)

He was practically 24hours available to help those students in need!

We students do not need teachers who, 1st lesson already told us: class, if this module is too tough for you, just try to pass can already. Somehow, after hearing this, i have no interest in doing well.

Anyways, i just love my experience in SAE. Anyone interested in studying audio engineering, web designing, games designing, anything related to the media, i think SAE is the place. The people there are wonderful! The lecturers and supervisors there are fantastic! No doubt about that! And most importantly, they have a broad network with other companies who are doing very well in this industry (eg, Lucus Film) and more of them, im sure!

Even after you graduate, they contact you once in awhile to offer you jobs available in the industry! How great is that, isnt it?

I just so miss my days there..

Busy with school this 1-2 weeks.

2-3 weeks ago, we went to this restuarant open by people from china.
It is located near kallang mrt.

The portions of the food there is like BIG.
Apparently people in china eat alot, that i know.

School has started!!
It's been a fulfilling week! Got in touch with new modules and learning more in depth of interaction design. Kinda cool!

Monday is on digital media studies.
Tuesday is on typography. We had to like draw out the 26 alphabets on a paper.
And draw it out exact 3 times in different fonts! *faints..
Im like still on my first piece, my god!

After school, went to grassroot club to have lunch with jinyu & xinyi :)
They have student set meal there, kinda worth it la!
After that, went to town.
Done abit of typography in town while waiting for lexy to end his lessons <3

Wednesday is on user centered design.
After school, went to meet lexy again, WOOT!
Today, had audio and video production tutorial.
Lots and lots of theory stuff on video were covered.
Kinda refreshed my memory of those stuff i learnt from Imran the other time in SAE :)
Im happy to be back in view of video and abit of audio :)

Am heading to genting on sat.
Not sure how am i gonna finish my hmwk. But i still have to..

I made my way to school this morning.

Rushed mummy, cos im gonna be late and she's still in the showers.

I took 15 from 'kampong', then alighted at eunos.

I had to change bus. According to sbs website, i need to change to bus45.

So alright, i waited and waited for the bus.

However, as minutes go by, everyone around the bus stop had boarded a bus. Only me.

Imagine this crowded bus stop, with students and working adults. And me, lol.

Then slowly one by one boarded a bus, ONLY MY BUS45 ISN'T HERE!!

I panicked! As i was already late man, and i thought, maybe sbs lied to me. No bus45.

And then..

I saw light! My 'glowing bus45' was nearing me ever sooo slowly.

I boarded. Heaved a sigh of relief man.

I panicked again.

When i finally saw the familiar route to nyp, THE BUS TURNED INSTEAD OF DRIVINGI STRAIGHT!! I totally freaked out!

Immediately messaged xinyi and ask her.

She assured me 45 really got go nyp, lol luckily!

Went for briefing. Then to lunch with the girls.

Trained with jovelle they all. Back home.

No i mean, back to kampong.

Anyways, next semester, have to take video and audio production module!

WOOT!! Im excited. It's my passion and interest! Sure love it.

No, i meant, hope to love it. *Later lecturer not nice as sae there one :(

I've been really busy with packing and shifting things lately.
If you didnt know, my place is currently undergoing renovations,
hence we have to pack all our stuff out from the house.

Now im like living at my grams.
Will be there for the next 2 months or so.
Going to school will be the biggest problem.
Meeting lexy will also be a problem,
so inconvenient for him when he sends me home too! :(

Anyways, things are all settled, finally!
Feel rather weird staying at somewhere and not my home too!

I met baby at harbourfront after his driving.
While i was waiting for him, i cant help but noticed: there were soooo many guai shushu around that area!! It was freaky!
Soon after, we headed to vivo to have lunch before leaving for sentosa!

We went to siloso beach resort first to put our things.
Then head out to walk, eat, have fun!

Had alot of fun, as always!
Sun was about to set, so we walk around to find a place for dinner.
We came across this place by the beach.
Nice place to dine :)

We were too hungry to even remember to take a picture!

After dinner, we took a stroll by the beach.
And had 2 scoops of new zealand ice cream.
Lexy loves hokey pokey flavour, all of a sudden *scratches head

went to the red dot museum recently!
it was super cool i have to say..

lexy and i were walking around singapore randomly..
we went to china town first,
to take my temple pictures for my drawing..

then just walk randomly around china town and out of that place,
to somewhere we dunno..

apparently, i didnt know there were tonnes of cameras around,
those security ones, and those cameras were linked to the security guard monitor screen!!
omg, he must be wondering what we were doing man!!
or laughing at us.. lol

before that, we were having this integrated assignment presentation on wed.

alrite, talking abt the holidays.
been meeting baby twice a week <3>
and the rest of the days,
slacking at home, catching up on sleep,

met darling at UE Square at around 5,
accompany him to do his navy stuff..
surveying and studying some carpark for the SAF event.
after that, we went to a flea for like 10min and went bugis for dinner (:
then we went to town, baby bought a leather jacket..

till the next morning on sunday <3>

went home then meet in the afternoon.

i feel like quitting school..
very much very much..

the lecturers dont teach,
they just ask you to read the brief and do your work..

and the workload is really killing me..
they expect you to finish such a huge amount of work in such a short period of time..

and not say im an artist or wad..
im still learning how the hell to draw,
and they expect perfect work.
they dunno how much effort you'd put into that piece of work..
they just criticize your work like nobody's business..

just bcos they are already professional,
they expect you to be like them..
they expect you to put all your time on their work,
wad abt those students who got to work?
how abt quality time with families?
how abt time with frens?
how abt time to do your things, like reading and stuff?
wad a lousy education system..

imagine, after school, i rush home to complete hmwk,
w/o eating meals, w/o quality time to sleep..
some of us even have to stay overnight in the airport to finish our work..
but the lecturers dunno how much effort we put in,
and they just criticize..

hey people!!
finally after weeks, im blogging(:
because dearest ms teo here had graduated already!!

so as usual, been rushing all my finals previously.
but now.. busy meeting frens to chat up(:

right after i graduated,
the next day friday 20th, went sentosa with caleb and freddy..
lex joined us after school in the evening.

then after dinner at sentosa,
headed to east coast, since sentosa not allowed to overnight camp.
so oh well, i wanted to have stingray for supper,
so thot of east coast.
but in the end, we all sat and slack at mac till 1-2plus in the wee morning.

soon after, pitched a tent near the sea,
and stayed there slacking, chatting till the next morning 8am.
super cool.. its been super long since i'd been so relax.

hahha, lately been so stressed up and busy with school, final recordings, business proposal, family outings, dates and assignments. its so tough to come out some time just for myself..

but luckily today, there's no school.

had a great time in school today.
i was super moodless in the first place,
thinking holidays are over.
life isnt all good recently. and adding, going to school,
god, that really sucks..

but never would i thought how my classmates, juniors & seniors really made my day.
the motivation, the drive and force..
their enthusiasm and all really make me stop and think.
reflecting on my life. my sch life, my personal life, my love life, everything..

in the past, everything i do,
i'll think of you first..
my frens asked me out, i would always wait till the very last min till i confirmed with them, making sure you werent free on that day for me, then i'll go with them..
having family outings, i'll make sure that today you wont be able to accompany me, then i'll go for the family outings..
when im in shopping malls, i'll have a habit to go to the guys section and look out for any nice stuff to get for you, rather than look out for my own stuff..
i'll always have the habit of waiting for your smses all day long..
i'll always be leaving out all possibilities of my time for you and only you, cos i know you're very busy, if im also like you, we'll never ever have the time to see each other..
i wanted the whole world to know how lucky am i to have you in my life..
i wanted so much for my family to love you the way they love me, and they did..
i wanted to do all i can to help you in your life, be it your studies, your probs you faced in life..

i was super at a loss ytd.
i wasnt upset.
but more of feeling the hurt inside.

i decided to sort my thoughts out by taking my long bus ride on 65.
at the beginning, i really didnt know wad exactly i wanted.
i really dunno..

i kept asking myself:
if i love you, why would i even care abt that matter.
afterall, it only concerns you and me. no one else.
as long as we're happy tog, nothing else matters.

but at the same time, i also thought:
if you love me, why do you care wad other ppl say?
it only concerns you and me. we cant really control wad they wanna say isnt it?

im really confused.
even until now, i still dunno wad i really want from you.
somehow, yes, deep down it really hurts.
i would be lying if i said it doesnt matter to me.

its been a super long time since i last went to town.
and its also been super long since i last went out during the wkends with daddy&mummy.

yesterday i decided to follow them to town to shop for some christmas presents.
it was so crowded.

soon after brother wanna go back to settle some stuff with his frens&girl,
and i wanted to see mysuperboy so much..
hence we went to meet him at tm then headed over to my place,
and ordered pizzahut delivery for dinner~

today, got some family gathering.
sailor uncle is back in spore from all his sailing~ haha(:
so he invited us over for a kbox session&dinner.
he paid for everything today man! my cool uncle.

its been such a long time since i last came home before 6pm.
semester 3 is coming to an end really soon.
its really a nightmare if i were to think back abt it.

early mornings, sleepless nights,
endless pile of work, irregular meals, so on and so forth..

there's still lectures on after effects in final cut pro software tho.
but i like it. so not much of a problem.

today i came back real early.
there wasnt any lecture.
we were suppose to attend my film seniors' presentation.
there was only 1 presentation that left me overwhelmed.
i was speechless when i saw his works.
it was.. how should i say it, only one word to say to him: excellent. (:

tears came strolling down my eyes when he showed his works.
it was totally fabulous man.
the camera shots, the audio/music, background.
suddenly i felt that im really far back behind.
i need to work much much harder to achieve that kinda standard.

now we only got 2 wks to complete shooting our press kit.
time is running out fast.
still, im gonna set my senior's work as a standard for our group.
im sure with our combined effort, we're get a grade1. (:

after the presentation, i quickly ran out by the back door. lol~
hoping no one will call me luh.
cos i dun wanna stay back again man.
so i had to leave quick before they say got meeting or wad. haha~

dunno if i should attend lecture tomorrow.
i kinda love the idea of skipping tmr's lecture.
then friday head off to KL, not attending lectures again.
followed by the wkends, and then monday is a public holiday!
